Pocket Like it's....STOP!

On the road to mediocrity, there are passengers and there are drivers.  Well Snoop DoggLion is definitely the driver on this here bus(Let me shut up before I get uppercut).

Not since the "Crumbelievable" debacle of 05 where EMF left it's one hit wonder "Unbelievable" to the manipulations of the Kraft food company to promote their new crumbly cheese line, has a song been so devalued by just a slight alteration in one word.

Here we are referring to the rapper formerly known as "Snoopy D-O double gizzle/ turn it up a little" and his once hit record, "Drop it Like it's Hot" featuring Pharrell Williams.  This time we have Hot Pockets to blame for this foolery.  In proper fleeting relevance form, Snoop has teamed up on this Hot Pocket "remix" with a fledgling nobody and a suckling attention parasite; featuring "YouTube Celebrity" DeStorm and former funny childhood star turned creepy baby-faced adult Andy Milonakis.

How do you go from featuring with the greatest musicians and artists ever and making some of the best most classic hip hop and rap music this world has ever known, to crooning wack watered-down versions of your once solid hits like this "Pocket Like it's Hot"?  I guess it was all down hill to me when he did that song with Big Time Rush.

I understand people grow old and slow down and find and focus on new priorities, but those people also retire and fall back from the game.  If it's coming down to just cutting the check Snoopy, let it go, maybe put one of your kids on like the rest of these respectable aging rappers are doing.

That'll do Lion, that'll do.

Don't Miss This! "Miss Me"

Back in the lab with the pen and the pad(well really, he never left the lab), Varsity's own E From Da Wic has blessed us with another hit!

Just in time for this cool weather, E brings you the heater that will blast through your speakers.  This new single "Miss me" featuring another major local talent, Starrz is already a buzz in the streets!

Here he addresses all the haters that question his ability and work ethic.  Over the past couple of months, following the release of his debut album, E has been strategically operating in order to  keep his next project as secretive as possible.  When there's a hater born every minute real Gs' move in silence.

And now that the weight is over, the silence had been lifted, E and Starzz are here to hit you over the head with this up tempo club/car banger!

Lil' Wayne Lip Lock!

Am I the only one who is seeing a new emerging theme here?  All over the introweb videos and pictures are popping up of what appears to be major celebrities in controversial lip locks with other celebrities and/or people of note.  The latest controversial kiss cam is of none other than Lil' Wayne and yes, another man.  But this time it wasn't Baby....

In the LIV Nightclub in the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami video footage has emerged of what appears to be a "friendly" peck on the lips shared between the two obvious males.  It is obvious that the one male is Lil' Wayne but the other has been identified as DJ Stevie J, Young Money's resident DJ

Of course with this as with many of the other siting of late, the quality is grainy at best and the angle is a bit questionable   I even tried to see if I could pinpoint any audience reactions but faces were not legible   Even if this isn't a kiss, I would have no idea why any two people period would need to be that close face to face.

Which one do you think gets on top?  I see Weezy as a bitch of a switch myself, I just wish he'd switch on that closet light and find the door so he can come on out already!

What do you see?

MMG= Mad Marauding Gangsters

While Ross's posse was busy trying to make Swiss cheese out of Jeezy's crew, another member of the MMG family, stepped into G-Unit land.

Apparently shortly after the gun fight between Rick Ross and Young Jeezy's entourages at the taping of this years BET Awards, 50 Cent and his body guards caught sight of MMG's artist Gunplay

According to a telephone interview from Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club with Gunplay there were not many words exchanged, just the exchanging of glances and references to let him know it was "about to go down."  Gunplay was jumped by 50 and about eight of his body guards until police broke it up with pepper spray.

Gunplay was the only one handcuffed because the rest of the suspects fled the scene.  He was shortly thereafter released and not charged.  He says he and 50 don't have any personal beef but apparently "If [his] foolie ridin' on you, then [he's] ridin' on you" and we all know that 50 Cent and Rick Ross aren't exactly, friends.

If you ask me all of this is stupid.  I thought money was suppose to change you.  I guess if they're all still running around acting like this, they haven't made enough. SMH.

Get Real Nicki

As if the air waves weren't already polluted enough, now there's a reports that Nicki Minaj may be taking her celebrity a step further, venturing into her own reality tv show through E Television Network.

The rumors are still young so we don't have very solid information just yet but Nicki is no stranger to the reality world.  Back in 2010, MTV film crews followed her around as she made her debut album and performed for the VMAs for the first time.  Then we got a glimpse into the world of Nicki Minaj behind the glitter and pink and wigs and butt shots.

With all that Nicki has happening on a regular basis I'm sure the show will not be without the proper material to fuel a reality show for sure.

I will admit, I watched "My Time Now" and I did enjoy it.  It brought some humanity back to the woman who has done everything in her power to make herself appear a fictional cartoon character.  If we can get some more of the real Nicki and less of Roman or Martha I'll be tuning in.  After all, I am a reality show junkie but as of right now, I'm still skeptical.  Nick has this way of getting under your skin and just making you want to rip her face off she can be so annoying.

I'll be happy when we can get some reminisce of underground Nicki back!

War at the Awards!

Shortly after 7:15 PM Saturday night, a fight broke out in the Atlanta Civic Center where this year's BET Awards were being taped.

Apparently Rick Ross and Young Jeezy exchanged a few words inside back stage where pushing and shoving commenced until BET security was able to put both camps out of the building.

There, outside, is where the real drama commenced. Reportedly, a member of the Ross camp brandished a weapon where in rings of gun fire followed.

When police arrived on scene they had to use pepper spray to clear the area.  Suspects fled.  There are no reports of any offenders being apprehended nor were there any reports of serious injury.

Shame on you William, being a former corrections officer you should know better than to just allow people in your camp to carry probably illegally concealed weapons.  But shame on both of you because you are both too rich to be pushing and shoving.  Where's the beef?  What were you two arguing over which rich MoFo was richer than the other rich MoFo?  Throw some music at it, throw some money at it, but don't put them PAWS on each other!

Didn't they shut the awards down before for too much fighting? SMH Niggas can't have nothin'!

Update**: Here's some back stage footage of the brawl inside the Civic Center.
