Trigga's fifth album entitled "Chapter IIII" is still due out next Tuesday(August 21st) but some naughty naughty sneaky person leaked the album early, last night(of course).  You know I had to get my review on for you!  

The single "Heart Attack"  sort of sets the tone for the album.  And if you have heard any of the interviews hes had on this album he keeps referring to his growth and development as and artist and how even thought his other albums may not have been named after chapters, each one was sort of like a different chapter in his career. Well this must be the sad, I fucked up, I'm sorry, I'm hurt chapter because most all of the songs on this album were kind of depressing.  Don't get me wrong, some people like to vibe out to that type of music, but even when I'm feeling down I don't like to listen to depressive music, but that's just my personal preference.  

And if you're looking for that signature, panty wetting, hot and sweaty song or two that Trigga always drops for your bedroom.... it's not here... don't get me wrong, he does talk about sex in some of the songs.. but nothing to write home about.  Hell, some of the interludes where a little more sexy than the sex songs, and really, if he's not doing sex music, what is he doing?

I'm glad he's trying to make growth in his subject matter, but this cd was just a miss for me... but don't let me discourage you! YOU CAN PRE-ORDER YOUR CHAPTER FIVE HERE! There's some collectors packs too! ....that necklace is cute.. I wonder if I can just order that......
