Enough Said? Maybe Drake didn't say Enough...

Apparently the Haughton family was less than impressed with the new single Drake released last Sunday entitled "Enough Said" featuring the timeless soulful croonings of the late great Ms. Aaliyah aka Baby Girl herself!

Rashad Haughton, Aaliyah's brother took to her official Facebook the next day and declared,

"'there is no official album being released and supported by the Haughton family.' -Rashad Haughton (regarding upcoming album release rumors)"

He also went as far as proclaiming,

"'Do you want an AALIYAH album? If so, Who should executive produce it or be featured on it? The Haughton Family would love to hear what her FANS have to say?'"

So there you have it.  If Drake didn't even have the blessing of the Haughton family how did he get his hands on the official rights to her jewel of never before heard Aaliyah ammo?  Blackground Records,  AAliyah's uncleBarry Hankerson  released the song with Drake's label, October's Very Own, so he must have some rights to Baby Girl's unreleased music.  So how did he talk to one member of the Aaliyah family and not think about the rest of them?

I feel that Timbaland and Missy Elliot should have been producing and running this whole show if any Aaliyah album was ever going to be in the works.  Everyone knew of Drake's admiration for Aaliyah as an artist but really what made him feel as though he was worthy of taking on such a momentous project without at least the blessing of Tim or Missy? (Messy Drake, just messy!)

But it appears that Drake's trying to mend the gaps he made when he hopped over all these people's heads and took on this project by himself.  After an interview Timbaland had with New York hip-hop radio station Power 105, Drake contacted him and he is now reportedly producing a few songs on the 'album.'

With Timbaland now on the project maybe the Haughton family will be a little more receptive to the idea?

Wishful thinking?  Does anyone else feel like this alludes to a possible Aaliyah biography movie? *Cross Fingers!!* (I think I could act a pretty good Baby Girl...)
