That's Daddy 'Smack That' to you!

In positive hip hop news(I know, waahh?!), the hip hop humper himself, 'Mr. Smack That,' Akon is now filing paternity documents to become the legal father of two of his recognized bastard children.

The singer filed a Petition for Legitimization in Georgia's Superior Court claiming paternity of two boys born in 2008 and 2009.

The documents state that Akon asked the courts to grant him joint legal custody to be involved in all the major decisions and most importantly, that they establish ongoing child support, noting to pay close attention to the loaded crooner's salary to dictate the exact amount he should be appointed to pay.  He also wants the kids to inherit from him when he dies and to keep his last name.

Sources say Akon has been in these boy's lives since they were born, all the paperwork is just necessary to ensure that what Akon recognizes in his heart is reflected in writing.

Hats off to you Mr. Akon.  In a time where most men are fleeing from the scene of the crime faster than Usain Bolt, it's refreshing to see a man actually stand up and fight for all of his rights as a father.
